Tuula Rinne

Tuulla Rinne

Tuula Rinne has obtained her PhD in medical sciences, in a project where she studied p63-associated diseases, their molecular disease mechanisms and the role of p63 and its downstream signaling in these diseases (ectodermal dysplasia, orofacial clefting and limb defects). In 2012, she finished her training as a clinical laboratory geneticist in Nijmegen. Since then, she has specialized in the fields of Kallmann syndrome and hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism, disorders of sex development and Noonan syndrome. Besides this, she is involved in the diagnostics of intellectual disability and multiple congenital anomaly syndromes.
